Getting Started

There is no greater adventure than scuba diving! Interacting with the underwater world is always fascinating and exciting. Whether you are enjoying beautiful coral reefs or reliving history by exploring the secrets of a sunken shipwreck, the underwater world offers endless entertainment for many years to come.

Nearly Everyone Can Do It!

Learning to dive isn't difficult, but like any activity worth doing, it requires some time and effort. You'll be diving in less time than you think. Typically an introduction to diving, e.g. PADI Discover Scuba Diving Programme, only takes 3 hours, the PADI Scuba Diver Course (pre-entry level) takes 2 days and the PADI Open Water Diver Course (basic course) can be done in three or four days, depending on how frequently you meet with your instructor and whether you use the self study method or come to the dive centre for classroom sessions. In the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver Course, your PADI Instructor takes you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive.

You'll start in a pool or pool-like conditions and progress to the open water (ocean), gathering background knowledge along the way. PADI courses are performance-based, which means that you progress at your own pace – faster or slower depending on the time you need to become a confident diver.

Earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people, unparalleled adventure and uncommon tranquility await you. Becoming a diver opens a door to a whole new world. Open yours and step through.
