What is Technical Diving?

Technical diving is diving deeper than 40mtr. /130ft. with staged decompression, diving in overhead environment beyond 40mtr. /130ft. linear distance from the surface or accelerated decompression using different gas mixes like trimix, enriched air or oxygen.
Technical diving is not for everyone as it has high physical demands and requires complex and extensive training but if you are ready for new challenge, we here at Deep Impact Diving Center, La Manga, have the staff, the facilities and the experience to train you as a safe, confident and disciplined technical diver.

Already Qualified?

If you are already qualified as a technical diver then Deep Impact can tailor diving packages to suit your needs, with your own boat, guides and logistical support. We blend our own Trimix and Nitrox with our on-site gas blending station and compressors. Our dive boats are modern and stocked with all necessary safety equipment.

Why Deep Impact?

Deep Impact is a ITDA Technical Training facility offering technical training up to the OC Trimix Instructor level. Rebreather courses on request with Simon Townsend from Rebreather Training up to Instructor level.
The technical training that you will receive is supported by the latest material and conducted by our experienced instructors; we can also offer you training in different languages.
During you training the group size is no more than 3 divers to 1 Instructor and if necessary we will bring in additional staff. At Deep Impact we set our standards very high and your training with us is exactly this: Training.
Our technical diving courses are scheduled over 5 to 10 days, giving a time frame to provide you with quality and in depth training. When you complete our technical training then you can be assured that you have the knowledge and skills to be a self-sufficient technical diver.
