Cobre - we don´t know the real name yet

This wreck is laying at a max depth of 50m on a sandy bottom. The ship is nearly upside down, that´s the reason why the spanish divers call it also "Bocabajo". At the moment we have only video footage of the wreck but no good photo. We will prepare some video material soon and post it here on the web site.
Very often you can see Sunfish on this dive site.

Nitsa - Stanfield (original name)

Image

Buit in the year 1899 by Thompson, J.L. (North Sands), former owners:
Co Ltd (J.Brown), Liverpool; 1899 under the name "Stanfield" ;
S. & A. Pandermaly & E. Yannaghas, Piraeus; 1913 under the name "Nitsa"
It is not really clear if the ship sunk by a torpedo or just hit one of the reefs close by.
After the report in the New York Times it was  torpedoed.
