This steamship was built by Fore River S. B. Corp., USA; 1914.  The original name was Atlantic but was renamed by his last owner (Berwind-White Coal Co.) to Wilmore.

September 12, 1917: Steamship Wilmore, gross 5,395 tons; torpedoed and sunk by German submarine U-64 in Mediterranean Sea, about 4 miles north-east of Hormigas Light, Cape Palos, Spain, no casualties.

We found this wreck last year in December. It is resting on the seabed at a depth of 114m and the first person who dived this wreck was Kexy Svara, Fabian Schmid and Volker Borchert.

At the moment we are trying to get a picture or drawing of this wreck. So stay tuned for more information!

In April this year we found another wreck at a depth between 83m and 92m. Till know we are not able to identify this wreck. If we have more information we will share it here.
