Semi Closed Rebreather Courses.

Draeger Dolphin/Ray.This course is designed to teach all aspects of Semi-closed rebreather diving using the Draeger Dolphin/Ray rebreather. Course content includes theory, equipment maintenance and practical diving sessions using Nitrox 32 and 40%. Course duration is 4 days and includes manual and certification, 4 dives with a minimum of 240 minutes of in water time.

 Closed Circuit Rebreather Courses.

CCR Level I. This is the entry level course for divers wanting to enter the world of rebreather diving. Course content includes theory, equipment workshop and practical diving using an air diluent to a maximum depth of 40 metres.Course includes manual and certification, confined water session and 6 dives, with a minimum of 360 minutes of in-water time.

CCR Level II Normoxic Trimix. The next level of rebreather diving. The course teaches divers to safely use trimix diluents with a minimum oxygen content of 18% for dives between 40 and 60 metres. The course expands on the skills learnt in the Level I course with more complex dive planning and gas switching to accelerate the decompression times. Course includes manual, certification and 6 dives with a minimum of 360 minutes of in-water time. Minimum of 50 hours and 50 dives from Level I course required before participation of this course.

CCR Level III Hypoxic Trimix. The final and most advanced level of rebreather diving using trimix diluents containing less than 18% oxygen for dives upto 100 metres, with decompression being carried out using trimix and nitrox mixtures and multiple gas swithces.Course includes manual and certification and 6 dives. A further 50 hours from completion of the LevelII course are required before participation of this course.

CCR Cave Courses.The CCR Cave diving courses follow the ITDA open circuit cirriculum only using CCR instead. It is designed to teach safe rebreather diving practices in the cave enviroment. The course encompasses equipment configuration, theory, gas matching calculations, line laying techniques and propulsion techniques relevant to the cave enviroment. To enroll on the level I course a minimum of 50 hours dive time on the relevant rebreather must have been logged. For level II training it is necessary to have completed CCR Level II open water training and level III it is nescessary to have full trimix certification.Prices for the courses include the dives but not equipment or gasses.

CCR Cave Level II.  450.00€ (4-5 days, 6 dives)

CCR Cave Level III.  Dependant on location. (5-6 day, 6 dives)

Instructor Courses.

Rebreather instructor courses are availble at all levels under the guidance of our Instructor Trainer. It is necessary to teach a full course for each level and a minimum of 10 certifications must be achieved between each course. Instructor courses are run in conjunction with the user courses so a realistic enviroment is achieved by actually teaching real students. Prices are the same as the user levels and fees relevant to the training agency are paid directly by the instructor candidate.
